Case Study: Intelligent Sensor System with Camera and Edge AI over LTE-M

An industrial client needed an autonomous measurement system that captures environmental data and images on-site, evaluates them intelligently, and transmits only relevant results to headquarters — even with limited network coverage.

Our solution: An LTE-M connected system with combined sensors and camera. A small on-device AI model interprets sensor readings and image data in real time, detects relevant conditions, and forwards only processed results. The entire firmware is implemented in Rust — memory-safe, energy-efficient, and with zero runtime overhead.
